A FRIENDS GROUP NOW FORMED
The huge parkland area forms a significant section of Wirral's Greenbelt preventing amalgamation of four townships
A
newly formed 'FRIENDS OF
ARROWE COUNTRY PARK', held a very well attended and successful meeting, on
Wednesday 7th February 2007, at the Arrowe Park Hotel. The meeting was attended
by somewhere in the region of 80 - 90 persons. Membership is coming in well.
The
next meeting will be held on 7th March, at the same venue, from 7 p.m. when we
will view the short film, produced by Angus Tilston, (unfortunately unable to be
shown at that meeting), and adopting our constitution, as well as having a more
extended 'Question Time'. Broadly
speaking, the aims of the 'FRIENDS' will be:
Field Voles are one of the many aspects of wildlife who occupy the Park ALL WELCOME TO JOIN MEMBERSHIP
