Planning Applications

On this page we shall feature some of the Planning Applications that may cause us some concern. We may be asking your views, or we may have already made objections to the relevant authority about the matter. If the application is likely to cause a great deal of concern, then you may also find an article on our news page, but keep checking back here to see what we are up to in any event.

*To view the plans at the Wirral Council website, click on the link and type the application number we have provided

To act as a guide for local planning issues, Wirral Borough Council sets out a plan for each area relevant to its needs. These documents are called 'Local Area Plans' and are designed to improve the quality of life for Wirral as a whole.

Each local area plan
identifies key local social, economic and environmental trends
maps out the available local statutory, voluntary and community resources
highlights local needs and aspirations
promotes initiatives that will address local needs and priorities
